The Institute of Hair Dressers & Beauticians (IHB) is a professional body set up in Sri Lanka to prepare curriculum, text book, conduct Examinations and maintain standards for Hair & Beauty qualifications.
IHB is a nonprofit making organization that has been incorporated under the company act, No 07 of 2007 as a company limited by guarantee.
In Sri Lanka, there are several institutes that provide Hair & Beauty Qualifications. But there is no recognized qualification that is offered in the local Sinhala & Tamil languages.
