Thew Duch Lanka Hotel School which commenced operations in November 2010 has grown to be a fully fledged hotel school within this short time. Starting with 12 students the school now has almost 50 students studying the core disciplines of hotel operations.
The School has a fully equipped training kitchen, a replica of a star class hotel bed room and a mock restaurant to give the students feeling of a real working situation. The air conditioned class rooms are comfortably furnished with a separate student's rest room.
The faculty of the school comprises of highly qualified and experienced staff, who firmly believes that attitudinal development of a student is as important as acquiring technical skills.
The school which is located in the heart of Kandy at the Nabeesha building; teaches English, French and even Fire Fighting in addition to Professional Cookery, Hotel Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Front Office Operations.
Dutch Lanka Hotel School provides young people, both male and female a well rounded training to start a career in the hospitality industry with confidence.
