National Diploma In Quantity Surveying (NVQ L5) - Part Time

Programme Overview

This part-time NVQ Level 5 qualification builds advanced competencies in quantity surveying, combining technical measurement skills, construction technology, and contract administration knowledge for the built-environment sector.

Delivered over 12 months, the programme is structured across two semesters, each comprising 750 hours of study, giving learners a solid theoretical and practical foundation.

Study Mode

Classes are conducted on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., allowing working individuals and school leavers to pursue the qualification alongside other commitments.

Instruction is offered mainly in Sinhala medium, with a mix of English as required, making the content accessible while introducing learners to technical terminology used in the profession.

Entry Qualifications

• Passed up to G.C.E (Advanced Level), or
• Completion of Assistant Quantity Surveying NVQ Level 4
