Diploma in Seafood Technology (NVQ 5)

This nationally recognised certificate programme equips students with specialist technical knowledge in seafood technology - covering every stage from raw material handling to finished product distribution. It is offered by the Ocean University of Sri Lanka (OCUSL), a government-established special-purpose university dedicated to marine, maritime, fisheries and allied technology sectors.

Award and Qualification

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for enrolment:

• An NVQ Level 4 qualification in a relevant field, or
• G.C.E. (A/L) examination passes in the Biological Science stream or the Bio System Technology stream
