- Pass in the GCE (A/L) Examination in four subjects under the old syllabus
- OR pass in the GCE (A/L) Examination in three subjects under the new syllabus
- OR completion of a Foundation Programme equivalent to the GCE (A/L)
- OR pass in the GCE (O/L) Examination with accredited work experience or prior learning followed by a relevant programme equivalent to a minimum of 30 credits
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant field and potential for future career development
- Good working knowledge of the language of instruction of the Diploma programme
