• Alternatively, completion of an accredited prior learning program of at least 30 credits with six months of work experience.
• Demonstrated competence in a relevant professional field and potential for future career advancement.

Assessment and Certification

Student performance is evaluated through a balanced system of continuous assessment and final examinations. Continuous assessments, such as assignments and presentations, account for 50% of the total marks for each individual course.

The remaining 50% of the grade is determined by a final written examination held at the end of each semester. This dual approach ensures that students remain engaged with the material throughout the entire academic year.

Professional Award and Accreditation

Upon the successful completion of all program requirements and adherence to institutional By-Laws, students are awarded the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management. This qualification is recognized for its academic rigor and professional relevance.

The final certificate is presented at the official diploma awarding ceremony of the Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), University of Colombo, marking a significant milestone in a student's professional career.
