Entry Requirements
- NVQ 5 Qualifications: Digital Imaging and Printing Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Journalism and Technology, Television Post-Production Technology, Television Program Production Technology
- NVQ 6 Qualifications: Digital Imaging and Printing Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Television Post-Production Technology, Television Program Production Technology
- NVQ 5 Equivalent: Relevant one-year Diploma in Film and Television or Screen Production Technology by state-owned institutions
- NVQ 6 Equivalent: Higher National Diploma in Information Technology by SLIATE
- Any G.C.E. (A/L) stream, enrolled only if vacancies are available after NVQ students

This programme is offered as a weekday programme primarily for NVQ students; G.C.E. (A/L) students may enrol subject to available vacancies.

- Semester 2: Evolution of Mass Media I, Production Aspects of Print, Television, Radio, New Media, Development of Sri Lankan Media I, Theorizing Convergence Media, Communication Skills in English II
- Semester 3: Production Management in Media Arts, Designing Techniques of Print, Television, Radio, New Media, Elements of Art and Design, Group Project I
- Semester 4: Media Research Methods and Methodologies, Advanced Production Techniques of Print, Television, Radio, New Media, Development of Sri Lankan Media II, Individual Project I
- Semester 5: Industrial Training
- Semester 6: Media Arts Theory and Criticism, Media Marketing and Advertising, Management in Media Industry, Occupational Safety and Health in Media Arts Production Trade, Entrepreneurship Development in Media Trade, Final Project
