The Qualifi Level 5 Extended Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare is a 240-credit qualification designed for those looking to manage or lead in early years settings. It is equivalent to the first two years of a UK bachelor's degree. 

• Duration: Typically 12 to 18 months.
• Total Credits: 240 Credits (120 at Level 4 + 120 at Level 5).
• Core Modules:
  • Level 4: Theoretical Perspectives of Early Years Development, Child Protection and Safeguarding, and Play and Learning in the Early Years.
  • Level 5: Developing the Quality of Care and Education; Supporting Diversity and Inclusion; Professional Development in Early Years; and Research Projects in Early Childhood.
• Assessment: 100% assignment-based. Many units require a practical placement or work-based evidence.
