SLIIT International Foundation

The SLIIT International Foundation (SIF) programme is a preparatory curriculum designed to equip students for successful undergraduate studies in English-medium universities. The programme fosters the development of subject knowledge, study skills, and English language proficiency to a level commensurate with smooth transition to higher education.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination (Sri Lanka, Edexcel, or Cambridge) or an equivalent qualification is required.

Local O/L- Minimum of six passes including 'C' passes in Mathematics and English. Edexcel/ Cambridge O/L- Minimum of six passes (Pass = D), including 'C' passes in Mathematics and English is mandatory.

Please note that the English language requirement can be waived if the candidate provides an overall Academic IELTS score of 4.5 or higher.
