Higher National Diploma Course in Nursing

Introduction

This Higher National Diploma is designed as per the NVQ level 6 guidelines to develop a good understanding of professional nursing practice and the importance of applying the knowledge and skills into the practice in the professional nursing field in Sri Lanka and other countries. Program is intended for upcoming demand in professional nursing officers for the local and foreign job market.

NVQ level - NVQ level 6

Duration - 3 years (Full Time)

Admission criteria-         

• Three (3) simple passes (''S'') from Biology stream in one and the same sitting at the Local Or Edexcel/Cambridge AND
• Pass in the aptitude test conducted by CINEC AND Successful passing at an Interview conducted by a Board of Academic Panel

 Professional body certification – TIVEC approved curriculum
