Study duration

The full programme runs over six months, providing structured learning with a focus on both theoretical understanding and applied skills. 

Awarding body and recognition

The qualification is awarded by York Graduate Campus and is approved as a TVEC Diploma Course recognised by the Sri Lankan Government for technical and vocational education. 

Entry requirements

• Completion of Ordinary Level examinations or equivalent.
• Eligibility also applies to students awaiting Ordinary Level results.
• Prospective learners planning careers in software development, cyber security and IT are encouraged to apply. 

Teaching and assessment methods

The programme combines classroom lectures with guided self-study to support learner understanding and progression. Assessment includes end-of-course examinations and assignments to evaluate knowledge and practical competency.
