Diploma in Hospital and Community Pharmacy

This course is designed to give a thorough understanding of the various aspects on the subject of pharmacy and to train the students to sit for the Certificate of Efficiency in Hospital and Community Pharmacy examination conducted by Ceylon Medical College Council or interested in health care. This qualification will allow the trainees to work in an organization as qualified pharmacist or to start their own pharmacy and grow as an entrepreneur. 

Duration: Two years 

Entry Requirement: Be successful in G.C.E. (O/L) with a Credit pass in English.G.C.E. (A/L), Pass in Chemistry and two passes from the following subjects: Biology/ Physics/ Mathematics and Agriculture, in one sitting OR Two passes in any stream  

Lectures: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. 

Charges: Registration fee of Rs.5,000/=, Course fee of Rs.215,000/= (Initial payment of Rs.35,000/= + Registration and balance to be paid in 18 installments)
