Certificate III in Hospitality Management (SIT 30616)

Certificate III in Hospitality provides learners with the core foundation skills and knowledge to enter a broad range of employment opportunities in the hospitality sector. The qualification in hospitality is aimed at Hotel and Restaurant employment outcomes in our campus delivery program, though this can be tailored to meet specializations in Food and Beverage, Accommodation, Room Service etc.

The study program offers an inclusive engaging and interactive learning experience which could lead to strong outcomes in roles such as; function and banquet staff, hotel reception, bartender, stewardess, and many more opportunities.

Work Placements

It is a requirement that whilst undertaking this course you have access to a workplace through paid or unpaid work/Internship for a minimum of 3 months (1 term). This will allow you to practice what you have learned and increase your experience working with others in this field.

It is compulsory and applies against the completion of a unit or Units of Competency that forms part of your full qualification. Students will be placed by AAH for an Internship with the Industry Work Placement (IWP) Department at AAH.
