Course Overview

Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management will develop the critical skills and industry experience for delivering the highest standards of guest services and management. This qualification reflects the outcomes of highly skilled senior managers who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with specialized managerial and business skills and substantial knowledge of the industry to manage hospitality operations.

Work Placements

It is a requirement that whilst undertaking this course you have access to a workplace through an internship for a minimum of 6 months (2 terms). This will allow you to practice what you have learned and increase your experience working with others in this field. It is compulsory and applies against the completion of a unit or Units of Competency that forms part of your full qualification. Students will be placed by AAH for an Internship with the Industry Work Placement (IWP) Department at AAH.

Transfer Pathways

1+1 Transfer Program Australasian Academy of Hospitality offers Sri Lankan and overseas students who study in Sri Lanka a unique transfer option to our partner Institutions in Australia. Students who wish to complete the Diploma in Hospitality Management can transfer to Evolution Institute of Hospitality in Sydney Australia to complete the Advanced Diploma. 2+2 Transfer Program Students who complete the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management have the option to transfer to partner Australian Universities to complete their bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.

Degree Completion Program (DCP)

Students of AAH will be provided the opportunity to study and complete their BBA in Hospitality Management program from a Swiss University right here in Sri Lanka at a fraction of the cost of studying in Switzerland. Students who complete the advanced diploma in hospitality management can join the final year top up degree program.
