We are pleased to announce our annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) workshop 2019 for the consecutive 4th year together with TUV India. BCM is a growing concern of all organizations in managing continuity risk in the context of evolving complex technological environment and the compliance pressure in the regulated industries. This course is designed to provide a basic understanding to the world of BCM. It is focused on newcomers to the BCM world and those who have roles and responsibilities of BCM projects in their own organizations.
The workshop provides the BCM Team with a basics knowledge and understanding of the building blocks required develop and maintain a robust Business Continuity Management program with a comprehensive overview of the BCMS discipline based on ISO22301 - 2012 standards and the best practices. This course covers all ISO 22301 requirements and six elements of the BCM Lifecycle as described in the Business Continuity Institute's Good Practice Guidelines, 2013.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the workshop you will be able to;
- Describe the difference between business continuity, business continuity management and business continuity management system and key concepts
- Describe the differences between business continuity, crisis and emergency management
- Discuss how an integrated business continuity programme contributes to corporate governance
- Understand the Steps necessary to develop BCM Programmes
- Describe a robust incident response structure
- Discuss how to develop an effective incident response structure
