Diploma in Biomedical Science

Biomedical Science is an area of study that investigates the relationship between humans, and the Diploma in Biomedical Science program would serve as a platform for its students to pursue their career pathway in the Biomedical, Applied Sciences and Health Sciences areas. The program introduces Modern Laboratory Techniques and encourages students to apply what they have learnt in class to solve practical problems. This program has strong emphasis on research, which will be a significant advantage for students who are inclined towards pursuing careers in health and Allied Sciences. Through its curriculum, which integrates the knowledge, attitude, and skill components, the students are prepared to meet the challenging endeavors as professional biomedical scientists. Minimum GCE A/L 3 'S' passes in Bio stream, EDEXEL O/L or equivalent

Progression

Students successfully complete the diploma in Biomedical Science can progress to the Bachelor (hones) Degree in Biomedical Science that can be completed in MSU in Colombo/Malaysia, Coventry university (UK) or Newcastle university - Australia.
