The division aims to produce well-rounded diploma holders who apply Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication engineering tools to solve real-world engineering problems. The curriculum aligns with modern industry trends and practical skills development.

Programme length and intake
Both diplomas are 3-year full-time programmes organised into six semesters. The annual student intake is 200 - with 100 students for each diploma programme.
Structure and study mode
Academic activities are delivered at ITUM during the first two years - four semesters on campus. The third year comprises semesters 5 and 6 and focuses on industrial training to integrate academic learning with workplace practice.
Curriculum focus
Electrical Engineering Technology emphasises construction, installation, maintenance and control of power systems, motors, drives and related equipment. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Technology focuses on design, maintenance and control of electronic systems, telecommunication systems and related devices.

- Foundational theory in year 1 to establish core engineering principles and fundamentals.
- Field-specific application modules in semesters 3 and 4 to build practical competence and systems understanding.
- Group project modules in semesters 3 and 4 to demonstrate integrated learning and teamwork.
