UK Higher National Diploma in Information Technology

The UK HND Diploma in IT Level 5 QCF (240 Credits) qualification is ideal for those who have started, or are planning to move into, a career in Information Technology in the Private or Public sector.

Successful completion of the UK Diploma Level 5 in Information Technology will provide learners the opportunity to obtain Employment or progress to further study & complete UK University One Year Top Up Degree BSc in IT with 1 year UK Student Visa or do UK University Online Study from Sri Lanka.

Paid Internship for One year

On completion of the HND Course all Participants will receive One year paid Internship Training in Sri Lanka Private Sector Corporates. After the One year Internship Intellect also provide the option for Participants to obtain a Job Abroad.

Entry Requirements

For entry to UK HND Diploma in IT Level 5 qualification, learners must possess

• UK Level 4 in IT or Software Engineering or any recognized UK Level 4 IT qualification
• English requirements - Provide evidence of English language competency or followed Intellect Spoken English Certificate Course

The Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology consists of 5 mandatory units for a combined total of 240 credits.

Assessment - All Course units within this qualification are assessed by the Intellect Training Centre and externally verified by our Partner College in UK. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes.

Progression to obtain UK Degree

Students completing the UK HND Diploma Level 5 in IT are eligible to progress to register for UK One year Top-Up degree - Bsc Hons in Computing at UK University Online Study from Sri Lanka with UK University Personal Tutor £4900 - £5500 or One Year UK Study Visa - UK University Fee £12,000'. On completion of Degree progression to Master&'s programme, or MBA at many universities in UK and overseas with advanced standing.

Once participant register for the UK Online Top Up degree optional offer of Guided study assistance with Personal Tutor available thru our Institute for an extra charge of£750/- valid during one year of Top Up degree.
