College Diploma in Fashion Merchandising and Retailing

The Brandix Corporate Campus (BCC) is a subsidiary of Brandix Lanka Ltd, a conglomerate involved in multifarious corporate activities such as plastics, aluminium, real estate, banking, trading, textiles, clothing etc.

The BCC has been set up to cater to school levers who are aspiring to embark on a clothing career as well as to those already in the clothing industry who wish to enhance their knowledge. Therefore, the college training activities have been divided into two major areas, called industry-based training for newcomers and industry-oriented training for industry personnel.

The Campus is well equipped to support the diploma course. Its machinery and equipment are brand new and they are state of the art. All students are encouraged to use these equipment. Students are taught theory and practicals at the college premises. Hands-on experience are given through in-plant training in clothing factories.

There are two large scale export-oriented clothing factories and one state of the art garment washing plant in the campus premises to support the teaching process. Students normally have access to visit these factories to enhance technical knowledge and buttress the theoretical knowledge.
