This course offers a unique blend of aesthetics and innovation. It brings together creative and practical skills and covers both residential, retail and commercial interior design. It is offered in partnership with Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia.

 

Objectives

 

Interior designers as qualified professionals find creative solutions to problems relating to the functioning and quality of people’s built environment. Therefore, this exciting and professionally oriented course embraces a distinctive approach through studio-based design studies of interior space and volume planning, complemented by awareness of sustainability, colour and texture, and professional practice.

 

Students will also be able to experiment with various presentation techniques, such as 2D drawing, mood boards and 3D modeling. Participants will also be exposed to technical knowledge of construction and building systems. This course also enhances our undergraduates’ knowledge in human behavior, psychology, environmental science and technology that is absolutely essential for the creation of interior spaces and environments in order to be the best modern day interior designers.
