Marine Engineer Officer Cadet Program

Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch Training Programme is based upon the requirement of Regulation III/I of the STCW'95. Students who successfully complete the course are eligible to appear for the Certificate of Competency for "Officer in Charge of an Engineering watch" Examination conducted by Administration. With further sea time and examinations, students will be able to obtain a BSc. in Marine Engineering awarded by the Dalian Maritime University in China.

Duration

• Phase I 12 Months
• Phase II 12 Months (at sea)
• Phase III 13 Months

Entry Requirement

• Age less than 22 years
• 6 passes at the GCE O/L with credits in Mathematics, Science and English AND should have passed the GCE A/L examination in Combined Mathematics and Physics OR Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
