Diploma In English (UK)

This internationally endorsed programme gives you the opportunity to gain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of important aspects of the English language. The English language modules cover the fundamentals of grammar, and effective speaking and writing skills.

This course is ideal for those who have always wanted to study English language in greater detail, and for learners who are studying English as a second language. ABE (UK) is a OfQual regulated international awarding body who has provided their high level of QA assurance to this programme. Hence, the learner will receive an ABE Certificate at the end of the program.

This diploma course is an ideal way of demonstrating your proficiency in the English language which will surely enhance career advancement and progression in your chosen field. This programme has been designed to offer a balance between practice and theory and an opportunity to develop skills that last a lifetime.

Starting from the basics, the course covers language skills & knowledge required for the participants to be fluent in using the language. Course modules will essentially focus on;

• Basic Grammar
• Advanced Grammar
• Grammar for professionals writing & speaking
• Business writing; Letters / Memos / Fax etc
• Reading skills for vocabulary & language development

Assessment Methodology

Assignments

Each student is required to submit 6 assignments, each being at least five type-written A4 pages (excluding graphs and figures if any). Guidelines for these assignments will be provided by your tutor at the sessions.

Examination

Four hour written examination at the end of the four Months

Duration and Attendance

• Class Duration - four (04) Months
• Attendance Policy - A minimum of 80 % attendance is mandatory
